Day 1 Guatemala: Color, Texture, Convent & Meat

First morning in Antigua:

We did a color study in the middle of Santa Clara Convent, ruins of an convent that was built in the late 1600's:

Some photos I took of possible color palettes, patterns and textures ... oh my!

The meat guy:
It's raining right now:

  1. love it love it love it.

  2. Oh wow, these are amazing. I think my favorite is the white scratches/thatches on the maize colored wall. And then the one right above it with the Byzantine church roof horizon line. The meat man reminds me of my stay in Mexico, instead of watching the bullfights in the stands, I went down below and snapped some photos of the butchers (?) preparing the meat for transport. Is it rude to post a link:

  3. Wow. You are in paradise doing pretty much the coolest thing ever. You have inspired me to re-evaluate my crap job and life objectives. I will return to evaluation after dinner and drinks....

  4. WOW...what a cool experience. You are learning so much. Love the photo of beautiful Annie!
